Southcentral Foundation (SCF) is an Alaska Native customer-owned health care system responsible for providing health care and related services to approximately 65,000 Alaska Native and American Indian people in Alaska’s Cook Inlet region.

SCF operates the Nuka System of Care, which is a customer-driven, relationship-based health care system. In the Nuka System, the Alaska Native and American Indian people SCF serves are not patients, but “customer-owners,” working in relationship with providers to achieve overall wellness.
